Seasonal Wild Blueberry & Anise


This week we welcome a bit of a rarity back to the f&f table, only made once a year, wild blueberry anise!
Made with wild blueberries and super local, spray-free anise hyssop, this one is probably my fave of the sweeter spreads and special to me because I grow the anise hyssop myself! It doesn’t get any more local than directly out my front door!
Anise hyssop (agastache foeniculum) is one of my all-time favourite perennials to grow because in addition to its sweet, liquorice flavour (which I looove), it flowers for months and it’s a huge attractant for pollinators! There are always so many bees buzzing around my yard!
